New 20 gal tank?

Need suggestions for a new 20 gal. I have already had mollies, guppies, etc. in a few 10 gal tanks before but this time I want something more challenging. Any ideas?!
Answers:
African cichlids are fun. They are bright like salt water fish but can live in fresh water fish. They are agressive fish, so you do have to be careful about putting smaller sized fish with larger fish (they will eat them.) Also, you can only have so many together, they need space.
I like them because of the bright colors and their spunk.
Good luck.
with a 20 gal i have no ideal should when 55gal thats a normal size that will fit just about anywheres and you can put so many more. Http://www.ocsarfish.com a great site with answer to thousands of question alreally ask
Maybe a few Dwarf Gourami's but do your homework first as some fish mentioned will grow big!
cichlids
I would suggest Trichogaster trichopterus or more commonly known as the Blue Gourami, they change color according to mood and they have individual personality. They also have a variety of colors which are within the same species so they can breed. The challenge about them is that you don't want to have two male Gourami's in the same tank, and thier hard to determine gender. A tattle sign of gender is that the males dorsal fin is bigger and reaches the back fin or close to it.
If you considered getting a Gourami there are some sources below that include pictures, info and breeding techniques
There are lots of cichlids to choose from, but be careful and research a ton! I personally like Angel's from the cichlid family, but they eat smaller fish like tetras.
Have fun! I really like picking out new fish and researching them 鈾?
You could do cichlids, they are beautiful. But I prefer to make a brakish tank and get the figure eight puffer fish .
Go with Angel fish. I have a 4+ inch and growing Koi kind and I love watching him. He is really graceful. They are sometimes hard to keep but mine is really hearty.
Or you could get a german blue ram. They are so pretty and challenging enough but doable.
