Ok my goldfish has been siting at the bottom of the fish tank and i dont know what to do?

Answers:
get him a little recliner
i think your fish i just tired or upset it may seem weird but fish have feelings too!
If your fish has been sitting unusually long then there might be a problem. Is it swimming funny? Breathing okay? It is somewhat normal for a fish to 'rest' at the bottom if there are no signs that it is in distress. If you think your fish is in distress, the best you can do is try partial or complete water changes (i prefer bottled water) and look for any identifiable symptoms so you can buy appropriate medicine. The Internet and fish books are a good source for finding information on fish diseases.
Cheers.
it's fine. my boyfriends coy does that all the time. they are kinda the same only the coy is a lot bigger. probably just wanting to rest it's fins. how would you feel if you were trying to swim in a tank of water for hours upon hours? wouldn't you want to rest your limbs? :) it's ok.
put some food that time it comes up to eat food
try getting more oxygen in the water.
seen a few like that. when they put a second airator in there it come to life big time.
just like us if we get low on oxygen then we slow down and get sleepy.
Sometimes fish just like to hang out. He may be dying though... I had that happen once. I changed half of the water, but it was too late, he passed away. He was just old, I think.
How long has your tank been set up? If it hasn't been very long, like less than a couple of weeks, it could be ammonia poisoning. You can buy Amquel, which not only dechlorinates the water, but cuts the ammonia, too. You will need to do a water change, but don't disturb the gravel. Siphon off the top of it, but you want to give the friendly bacteria a chance to grow. Then the bacteria will stop the ammonia. Change the water (at least half of it) every day until he looks better. Make sure the new water has the Amquel, and that it is the same temperature at the fish tank. This worked in my tank with a very sick angel fish I had. Also, if you have this fish in a tank, you don't need a heater--as a matter of fact, they much prefer cold water! Good luck!
First, observe it for a while. It could just be sleeping. If it stays in that state that you described, then it's dying probably. Did you feed it correctly? Did you clean the tank? If you think you did everything correctly, observe the fish again. Any missing scales, fins, abnormalness? If not, it's probably just sick. Good thing it's a goldfish, eh? 20 cents isn't too bad. Don't go to that same fish store for a while.
Hello again! This is probably the result of poor water quality-probably an ammonia spike-you need to regularly siphon your tank to remove excess gunk from the gravel %26 also lack of dissolved oxygen in the water may be an issue. Test your parameters, make sure they are spot-on, you also need to be keeping up with regular partial water changes %26 make sure you have an airstone running in addition to your filter. The link below details all aspects of good basic Goldfish care.
change the water fast....
and don't feed them too much.
