My toddler poured his milk into the tank with a goldfish?

Will this kill the fish?
It would of been swimming around in cloudy milk for a while before i noticed it.
Answers:
the milk won't hurt them
DON'T do a complete waterchange or you will kill of all the good bacteria and you need to start cycling your tank again
just do a 50% waterchange with a gravelsiphon, and follow up with 25% partial waterchanges every other day, until your water is clean again
And don't take the fish out when doing that, also don't forget to treat the new water before putting it in

Hope that helps
Good luck

Just change out the water, it should be fine :)
How cute! Fishy wanted some milk!
LOL gotta love kids!
Just change the water out goldfish survive amazing things! And if it doesn't you have an opportunity for a cause and effect life lesson if you handle it very carefully.
Best wishes!
I agree with the others. I'd do a partial water change and another in a couple of days, and keep the filter media clean. The fish will probably be fine.
I keep goldfish in a water garden. Used to have a pond at a rental property and the renters never took care of it. I thought all the fish were dead because the water was disgusting and black and smelled bad, but when I went to clean it, I found a LOT of goldfish living in that terribly dirty water.
No! dont Listen to them! you need to take like a Cup of water, stick the fish in there, then suck all the milk/water out of the tank fill the tank then set the fish back inside
