Question about ph and feeding a pacu and oscar together?

ok i have a red belly pacu and an oscar in the same tank. i had the pacu first for a few months then my uncle gave me and adult oscar and i put them in the tank together (they seemed to get along pretty well and still do) but anyway when i only had the pacu the water stayed nice and clean and never smelled but when i got the oscar it became the complete opposite and also the ph keeps gettin acidy and i allways change the water when that happens but i gets acidy again, what should i do?
Answers:
The extra fish has really put a strain on your filter and water change routine. It's also probable that the tank is getting too much fish to handle as Pacu get so very huge and Oscars are not known as small fish themselves.
Adding a second filter to the tank would be a good idea, but also increaseing the size and frequancy of your water changes will be important. I would suggest you change 30-40% of the tank once a week.

Cool fish but you need another liter.Try the one that's goes under the gravel.
